Teaching Course

During the 14th Alpe Adria Cardiology Meeting & International Congress of the Croatian Cardiac Society a teaching course in Doppler Myocardial Imaging & Cardiac Deformation will be held.

It will present the basic principles of Doppler myocardial imaging and the possibilities of its application in clinical practice. The clinical aspect will be enhanced by case presentations. In addition to lectures, live scanning as well as off-line workstation analyses will be demonstrated. The course is intended for cardiologists, cardiology fellows and echosonographers with background knowledge in echocardiography. It is organised by the Working group on echocardiography of the Croatian Cardiac Society.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. The credits for Croatian participants will be assigned by the Croatian medical chamber.

The tuition fee for the two-day course is EURO 150, - / HRK 1100, - which includes attendance to lectures, coffee breaks and lunch. The course will be
limited to 100 participants.
